The Livonia Soccer Club Recreational level of play is an ideal entry point for the player who wants to be introduced to the game, play with friends, and participate on a team. Recreational soccer is open to all players 6-18 years old and is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and participation of all the players. No tryouts are required to join a team.
The Recreational player is for kids that are interested in playing in a less committed environment. Seasons are typically shorter, tournaments are fewer, traveling is less, and coaches are volunteer-based. Recreational soccer is purely for the enjoyment of the sport, and not as much focus is placed on advanced technical and tactical instruction or wins.
In June 2017 the Michigan Wolves Soccer Club and AC Milan-Detroit(Livonia)/Livonia Soccer Club agreed to a merger to operate as the Michigan Wolves Soccer Club.
We are excited to unite all of the soccer programs inside the City of Livonia. This will provide a quality soccer experience for players of all levels.
This merger more than doubles the size of the nationally recognized Michigan Wolves Soccer Club. This opportunity provides the current AC Milan-Detroit(Livonia) players to combine with a club that has a rich history and state of the art training facilities.
The Livonia Soccer Club Recreational program will continue to operate under the name, Livonia Soccer Club.
Teams are coed (Boys & Girls) In house League
Game Format: 4v4 games no Goalkeepers (US Soccer mandated)
Games will be played at Bicentennial and Greenmead in Livonia
Games will be played on mainly Saturday and/or Sunday
Coaches are parent volunteers
Practices occur once per week (day is coaches choice)
