JOE ZAWACKI

GOALKEEPER COACH

BIOGRAPHY

Joe Zawacki grew up in Livonia and played his entire club career with the Michigan Wolves (1990-2001). Additionally, he represented Michigan and the Midwest (Region 2) through the Olympic Development Program.

After graduating from Livonia Stevenson HS, he took his talents to the Big Ten and continued his playing career at the University of Michigan (2000-2005). He also had the good fortune of playing with both the Mid-Michigan Bucks and Detroit Arsenal before injuries steered him into coaching.

Although he had many successes, being selected as Team Captain for the Michigan Wolves/Michigan ODP/University of Michigan are the greatest honors of his playing career.

Finally, Joe firmly believes that his '82 Wolves was the greatest Wolves team ever assembled and will gladly debate anyone regarding that topic.

Joe currently holds a USSF "C" License and his National Goalkeeping License.
