BIOGRAPHY

Granit Caushaj grew up in Vlora Albania where he played youth soccer at KS Flamurtari Vlore. He also played for the Albanian U17 national team. After moving in United States Granit attended Marshall University where he played soccer for the Thundering Herd. After college he continued his soccer career professionally in Czech Republic Europe with FK Most/FK Chmel Blsany. In the States Granit also played in USL second division with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds where he also coached youth teams and worked on soccer camps. Granit moved back to Michigan where his family resides, and has coached Michigan Jaguars in the past and continues to work in the development of youth soccer. Since coaching Granit has been a student of the game and holds US Soccer's 'A' License and the UEFA 'B' License. In addition to his coaching qualifications, Granit has an MA Sports Admin from Wayne State University and a BA in Exercise Physiology from Marshall University.
