The Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) was founded to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The Boys ECNL will include both regular season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the Boys ECNL will advance to the post-season Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Playoffs.
The Boys ECNL is based on the values of grass-roots collaboration and innovation, and supports the independence and freedom of coaches and clubs to fully manage the development path for their players, including the system and style of play, the competitive calendar, and all aspects of the development path. The Boys ECNL will raise standards in training, competition, club organization, and coaching in a holistic development program.

The level of competition within the league and professional standards on game day are second to none. Puma Match Balls are provided for all Ecnl games. Water and Gatorade is set up and available for all players. Clubs provide trainers at each game. The surface and playing condition of each facility is part of ECNL being a Premier League in the country. The Michigan Wolves video most home games and Video is available to the coach and players.
ECNL showcases and the other showcase organized by the club provide players with lots of opportunities to be scouted by college coaches. As a club, we take an active role in helping young men and their families engage in the college search process. In addition to regular meetings and an annual Wolves College Night, we host an annual college combine that brings top clubs from around Michigan and coaches from a large number of universities to our indoor dome.
Game Day Format - One of the unique things about ECNL is that all matches vs. other clubs are held on the same day. Meaning our U13 and U14 teams, and the U15 through U19 teams travel together. Moreover, most of the spring all the teams travel and host as a group. During the Fall season the 13’s and 14’s are travel partners and play all their games on the same days vs the same teams in mostly one location. (Maybe a second location nearby.). During the Winter and Spring season the U13 through U19 are travel partners and play all their games on the same days vs the same teams in mostly one location. (Maybe a second location nearby.) Number of Training – Each team trains twice per week during the fall, winter and spring seasons. Additional training includes street soccer on Friday evenings and functional training, which is held twice per month in the spring.
Video analysis - Home games are recorded on the club’s Veo video platform and shared directly with players and staff. Games and individual performance can thereby be used as a tool for development.
Winter Futsal League - ECNL players from various age groups are intermixed and placed on teams for weekly futsal competition in December and January. The league builds the players’ technical proficiency, enhances the club community, and breeds healthy competition.
Our conference is split into two divisions.
Teams in our division are: Ohio Premier, Ohio Elite, Pacesetter (Ohio), Vardar, New York Flash and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Other teams in our conference include: Wisconsin FC, Eclipse Soccer Club (IL), St. Louis Scott Gallagher (MO), Rockford Raptors (IL), Minnesota Thunder and Indy Pride.
Each team plays every other team in the division twice and two clubs from the conference.
In 2019/2020 season our U16, U17 & U18/U19 teams attend the ECNL Sanford Florida showcase in December and the U15, U16 & U17 teams attended the South Carolina showcase in April.
In addition to the ECNL organized showcases all our teams participated in the following showcases and events: Wolves and Legacy Showcase at Legacy (December), Novi Jaguars Showcase (January), Ohio Elite Showcase (March) and Michigan Wolves Showcase (March)

The Wolves have arguably the best facilities in the state. Our teams primarily utilize the St. Joe’s Sports Dome and the lighted outdoor stadium field at Schoolcraft College.
Club - Short answer YES, players who are high performing within their own teams will be given opportunities to train and play with different teams within their own age group or the age group above. These decisions will be made in collaboration between the players head coach, the head coach of the proposed team and the age group director. This decision will only be made if it is in the best interests of the players development.
Conference Selection Program - Players may be selected to participate in a CSP that consists of the conferences best players. Players from U15-U19 travel to a location to train with other top players in the conference.
National Training Camp - ECNL holds a National Training Camp for the top performing players across the ECNL. Players are selected towards the end of the season.
Awards - Players can earn All conference Awards as well as All American Awards.
International Champions Cup - ECNL has a relationship with International Champions Cup to place a All Star Team in the ICC event. Players are selected by the league.
